2006 FVHS Choral Music Banquet

This yearse Fountain Valley High School Banquet was great. Tatiana Kuilanoff, a beautiful well deserving girl received the Roger Rodecker Memorial Scholarship. I sat next to Kevin Tison, the new Choral director. He is energetic, well spoken and the kids love him. Joyce Anton was there, but Tom missed this banquet for the first time; apparently Estancia High School awards was the same night and being the principal there, he couldn’t miss it. I taunted Joyce, saying that I would complain to the principal! Paul Berger, as you may know, passed away weeks before last years event; his wife, Gloria sat with us and presented the Paul Berger award.

Ted Reid was there and some of the seniors knew him; he was a lot of fun. He told everyone that he’s at Edison HS and pointed out it’s the “same place as where The Bell” is! That got everyone booing!
